astrologer in noida sector 18 on tithis

Know how tithis decrease and increase by astrologer in noida sector 18

There are two types of dates prevalent in India. Solar date and lunar date. The date recognized according to the motion of the Sun is called Solar Tithi and the date recognized according to the motion of the Moon is called Chandra Tithi. The day on which the Sun and the Moon come to a point is called Amavasya.

In the commentary on Amarakosha, Kshirswami has said - "Ama saha savtosya chandrakou". Similarly, when the Sun and the Moon come face to face, then that day is Purnima or Poornamasi. Generally there should be a gap of 15 days between Amavasya or Poornima. But every date does not end in a day or night for 24 hours or 60 Ghati.
Therefore, from new moon to full moon and from full moon to new moon, sometimes at an interval of 15 days, sometimes at an interval of 14 days, sometimes at an interval of 16 days or sometimes at an interval of 13 days.

The reason for this difference is that the dates are related to the movement of the Sun and the Moon. Therefore, when the difference between the speed of the Sun and the Moon is more, then the Moon comes in front of the Sun in 14 days instead of 15 days.
If the moon is slow, it takes 16 days. This is what is called the decay-increase of dates, that is, the increase and decrease of dates.
If the moon continues to move quickly and reduces its speed by two hours, then in 12 days it will be reduced by 24 hours. In this way, on the twelfth day itself, the thirteenth part of the moon's motion {12 degrees} will end. This is called the decay of Trayodashi.
Because according to ordinary calculations, only twelve degrees of the moon should end in every hour and thus only twelve degrees of the moon should end in the thirteenth hour and thus the thirteenth part should come in the thirteenth hour.
But when it is seen that the thirteenth part has no place in the thirteenth hour. Rather, on that day the fourteenth part has started from the morning itself, so the end of the thirteenth part in the twelfth hour is said to be the decay of Trayodashi.
